GLOBAL HOPE 365

We walk for the Freedom of Women & Girls

The Annual Global Hope 365 Walk/Run to End Child Marriage and Human Trafficking is established to raise awareness about the prevalence of Human Trafficking and Child Marriage among us. Global Hope 365 is committed to ending child marriage and preventing Human Trafficking.

Child Marriage is still legal in 44 states including California. According to Pew Research Center, California has a Child Marriage rate above the national average. Of every 1,000 15-17-year-olds, 5.5 are married in the state of California, while the US average is 4.6.

Between 2000 and 2018, almost 300,000 girls and boys in the U.S. mainly girls married to adult men were married before their 18th birthday. The consequences for these children are the same for children everywhere: increased poverty, a higher risk of domestic violence, health complications, divorce, and lower educational attainment.

Participate in our digital letter-writing campaign to end child marriage in CA and the U.S.

Learn More...

Women and children are being sold for sex or labor, and sometimes both around the world, but most shockingly in the United States. There are hundreds of victims in Orange County, California, hundreds of thousands of victims in the United States, millions around the globe and Children are easy to target. Learn how to protect them. Global Hope 365 advocates for more raising awareness, education, prevention, and tougher legislation targeting the buyers and traffickers that are fueling this 150 billion dollar crime industry.
